Medusa Mining (AIM & ASX: MML), австралийская горнодобывающая компания, осуществляющая разработку золотых месторождений на Филиппинах, подтвердила получение разрешения на бурение на месторождении Lingig Porphyry Copper.
Ожидается, что Medusa начнет бурение в конце этого месяца, и первая шахта будет пробурена в том же месте, что и построенная в 1974 году шахта, вскрывшая пласт в 150 метров, при этом содержание меди составило 0,4 % и 0,65 % - в нижних 52 метрах шахты.
Дополнительное исследование поверхности, проведенная Medusa, также обнаружило выходящие на поверхность залежи окисленного кварца и сульфидного порфира, расположенных примерно 500 метрам к северу от ранее пробуренной шахты.
